Travel in Prints: Aruba with HeyGorjess

The Summer '17 collection from Vêtu de Joy, is bright, fresh and suited for palm trees and tropical weather and will be released on their 2nd year anniversary, May 15, 2017. The team traveled to the cactus-laden deserts of Aruba to shoot travel and style-loving social influencer, Jessica Franklin (@heygorjess) along with Raushannah Kornegay (@simplyshannah) to showcase how limitless your style and your dreams should be. Shot by internationally published street style and portrait photographer, Denisse Benitez, (@thugnanny_) the pieces took on new life in this unsuspected setting.

Taking a temporary departure from their usual love affair with structural stripes, the newest collection combines their obsession with palm prints and vivid florals with stark white and sunset orange hues. With asymmetrical hemlines, strapless tops, and high slits that reveal elegantly, keeping the wearer both comfortable and sultry, they boast pieces that are colorful for those who love them and fresh, with clean and simple looks for others.

Vêtu de Joy is a Brooklyn-based online retailer, curated by Stylist Mikaela Pabon - wife and mother whose love of prints is both bold and tasteful, which shines through her selection of pieces.
